The Volt™ Burlington is probably the best looking unisex electric bike available. It has classic retro styling combined with the best of modern electric bike technology. The classic drop frame makes it exceptionally easy to get on and off and the front basket makes it very practical for transporting shopping or other items.
A powerful maintenance free 250W Bafang brushless motor helps power you along at up to 15.5mph. Mounted on the handlebars is a simple to use LCD controller which in addition to displaying your speed and distance travelled also allows you to easily control the level of pedal assistance you require. Six different pedal assistance levels are offered allowing you to set the bike to the exact pedal assistance that you require.
The powerful 36V 10Ah Lithium Polymer battery ensures that you should never run out of power. On a medium pedal assistance level you should be able to cycle 50 miles which is a long way by anyone’s standards. Of course a lower setting will allow you to go even further!
All the parts on the bike are top quality. High Specification 8 Speed Shimano gears help you make the most of your riding experience. Both front and rear brakes are made by Tektro thus ensuring reliability and importantly stopability. Powerful LED lights ensure that you are highly visible to other road users and are fitted to both the front and rear. The LED’s are controlled from a button on the handlebars. The latest in mudguard technology not only keeps you clean and dry but also helps reduce the amount of wires used on the bike as they have been designed to safely carry the power for the LED lights through them without using wires.
