The Burlington has had a makeover for 2016! It now comes with matte black frame finish, front suspension and all black saddle and handlebars creating a classic style bike with a modern feel. This e-bike offers a comfortable upright riding style that can be customised to suit varying rider heights thanks to the easily adjustable seat-post and handlebars. The addition of front suspension adds to the versatility of conditions the Burlington can handle, opening up light off-road trails to riders. Shimano Alivio 8 speed gears and Tektro brakes ensure a smooth transition through the gears and the stopping power to keep you safe on the road. The Burlington also comes with front and rear SKS mudguards, Spanninga led lights and a full chain guard.

The 36V Panasonic lithium battery gives a range of 60+ miles on a single charge and the battery has upwards of 1000 full-charge cycles. The Bafang 250W power motor delivers acceleration smoothly and consistently up to 15.5mph. As with all our e-bikes with rear hub motors, the Burlington comes with VOLT™’s own V-Wave technology, offering fully customisable power settings, near-silent motor running and excellent power efficiency.

I turn 51 next month and feel 16 again 🙂
My physiotherupist suggested an electric bike as a means of exercise as I suffer from severe bouts of Sciatica which stop me from walking very far. I tried other brands of bike before travelling to London to look at the Volt Burlington. It was love at first sight, I’m usually the sort of person who will buy things on a whim, they sit in the garage and gather dust after first use, and are then sent to the local charity shop, but not this time! I go out on it every weekend travelling in excess of 20 miles a time; I use pedal assist most of the time but after 5 weeks of use only use power 1 on the flat and up to 3 or 4 when going up hills. The great thing about this bike is I just don’t have the power in my back to get up hills but can do it with ease using power assist. The basket on the front is fantastic, I take a cool bag with me and fill it up with soft drinks for the journey. If you are thinking about buying an electric bike, I would highly recommend Volt and if you have a bad back, go for the Burlington, you won’t regret it.

My partner and I spent quite some time in sleuthing which electric bike to buy and we came across the Pulse and the Burlington.
We called Lyle in the week to make an appointment for a weekend test ride of the electric bikes and requested that he build the two bikes as we were 99% sure we were going to buy them
When we arrived we found him knowledgeable and friendly.
He took us for ride around the streets and at each stop he pointed out more features about the bikes. Not once did he try to “sell” us the bikes, which I found very professional
We purchased the two as planned and are thrilled with the quality of the bikes and the professional approach by Lyle
I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to buy an electric bike to give them a try, I am sure you will not be disappointed

It was a really well thought through decision to buy an electric bike, and from that #electricmary, a very special Volt Burlington was born.
She has even started a blog and we are in danger of taking this all far to far indeed!
Thank you @ebikeUK @VoltBikesUK #lifestylechanger
